establishment of the foundation

The Felinoire Foundation was established to support dog and cat owners, promote animal adoption, and combat animal abuse through education and practical outreach. Our goal is to create a community full of empathy, where every animal finds a good home and every owner receives support in difficult times.

origin of the name

The name Felinoire comes from the French language. "Félin" means "cat" or "feline," and "noire" means the color "black." Black cats are often unfairly stigmatized, abused, and overlooked for adoption. Meanwhile, despite baseless superstitions about bad luck, in many cultures around the world, black cats are perceived as symbols of good luck, prosperity, and protection for households. The foundation's name is a metaphor for the hope and support we wish to offer to dedicated dog and cat owners who find themselves in difficult financial circumstances.

our mission

The Felinoire Foundation's mission is to change negative stereotypes and remind people that every animal—regardless of color or other characteristics—deserves love, respect, and care. Some people still keep animals in indecent conditions, guided by negative attitudes passed down from generation to generation, often unaware of their harmful effects and the need to change their approach. We want to break this cycle through educational activities aimed at children, young people, and adults.

foundation strategy

The Foundation's long-term strategy is based on three pillars:

  1. Direct aid – Providing support to animal owners in financial difficulties, including the provision of food based on the “Karma Zawieszona” charity model.
  2. Adoption promotion – Increasing the number of dog and cat adoptions through educational campaigns and supporting shelters.
  3. Education and counteracting violence – Raising public awareness of the humane treatment of animals and cooperating with NGOs and local organizations to counteract violence.

values of the foundation

  1. Empathy – every animal deserves love, care, respect, and a carefree life. We work with heart and sensitivity, helping animals and their caregivers.
